Improvement Collaborative (IQIC)

for Congenital Heart Disease

Improving care in low- and middle- income countries.

 

The International Quality Improvement Collaborative (IQIC) for Congenital Heart Surgery in Developing Countries was officially launched in 2008 to provide benchmarking data for congenital heart surgery in the developing world, with the overall goal of guiding quality improvement efforts and reducing mortality for congenital heart disease.

Today, there are currently 56 active sites in 24 different countries enrolled with the IQIC.

The IQIC will participate actively in the 12th Global Forum on Humanitarian Medicine in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.

The program will be announced later.
